Your Privacy Matters: RemindAll is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create a RemindAll account, we collect:

Email address — used to identify your account and for password recovery
Password — stored securely using industry-standard hashing, never in plain text
User ID — a unique identifier (UUID) generated for your account

Account creation is optional. Without an account, reminders will not sync across devices.

1.2 Reminder Data

When you create reminders, we store the following on our servers to enable cross-device sync:

Reminder title and description
Due date and time
Recurrence settings (daily, weekly, monthly, custom)
Alert type (notification or alarm)
Completion status and snooze history

1.3 Device Information

To deliver push notifications for cross-device sync, we collect:

Device push token (APNs on iOS, FCM on Android) — used only to send sync events. Cleared on sign-out.
Device name — used to identify sync origin, visible only to you.

1.4 Subscription and Purchase Information

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not access your payment card details. We receive from Apple/Google:

Subscription status (active, expired, cancelled)
Subscription platform (iOS or Android)
Subscription expiry date
Transaction receipt for server-side validation

1.5 Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect anonymised usage data:

App open, authentication, and onboarding events
Reminder events (created, completed, snoozed, deleted) — without reminder content
Purchase events — without payment details
Paywall view events

Firebase Analytics may also collect device identifiers per Google's Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

Account management: Authenticate you and associate reminders with your account
Cross-device sync: Synchronise reminders across your signed-in devices
Premium access: Validate your subscription across iOS and Android
Password recovery: Send reset emails when requested
App improvement: Use anonymised analytics to identify issues

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

3.1 Third-Party Services

Firebase Analytics (Google): Anonymised usage analytics
Apple App Store: In-app purchase and subscription processing
Google Play Store: In-app purchase and subscription processing
Apple Push Notification service (APNs): Push delivery to iOS devices

3.2 No Sale of Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties.

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law or a valid legal request from public authorities.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

4.1 Account Deletion

You can delete your account from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). Upon deletion, your account, email, all reminders, push tokens, and subscription records are permanently removed from our servers. This action is irreversible.

4.2 Sign-Out

Signing out clears your session, device push token, and locally cached premium state. Your account and reminders remain on our servers until you delete your account.

5. Your Rights and Control

Access: View and edit your reminders at any time in the app
Deletion: Delete your account and all data directly from the app
Analytics opt-out: Firebase Analytics respects the system-level tracking settings on iOS and Android
Data requests: Email us to request a copy of your data or to correct it

6. Children's Privacy

RemindAll is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

7. Data Security

Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms — never stored in plain text
All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
Push tokens are deleted from our servers on sign-out
Premium state caches are cleared from the device on sign-out

8. Cross-Platform Data

RemindAll is available on iOS and Android. If you subscribe on one platform and use the app on the other, your subscription is verified via our backend. This is permitted under Apple's App Store Review Guidelines (3.1.3b) and Google Play policies for cross-platform services.

9. GDPR (European Users)

If you are in the EEA, your rights include: access, rectification, erasure (available in-app), restriction, portability, and the right to object. Our legal basis is performance of a contract (providing the RemindAll service) and, for analytics, our legitimate interest in improving the app.

10. CCPA (California Users)

You have the right to know what we collect, request deletion, and opt out of data sale. We do not sell personal information. Contact us to exercise your rights.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date above and, where appropriate, sending an in-app notification.
